Wanted - Sara Shepard

Wanted

Title: Wanted
Author: Sara Shepard
Series: Pretty Little Liars
Part: 8
Release year:  2011
Publisher:  Atom - thanks for the review copy!
Pages: 256
Reread: Nope
Thank you Atom for the review copy!
Spoilers if you haven't read the book or the seven previous!
I think this book is the best in the series because the girls finally find out the truth about Alison which I've known for like a year because of spoilers I've read!
They finally find out that Ali had a twin and gahh, the plot in this book is kind of amazing, even though I already knew what was going on I started to doubt everything that I'd read!
Something that annoyed me was how fast Emily decided to trust Ali. I mean seriously girl, don't be so obvious! Like, the first time they saw her, she almost died. No,she didn't,but she's too much of a open book.
If it was me,I'd be a little more suspicous. I also didn't like how she just decided over everyone again and they didn't complain. Aria was like the only person with sense in this book. Or yeah, at least until she fell for Ali like before again. But when you think that your friend is dead for so long and then she tells you she haven't,you want to believe her. So I still understand them. Also,I would propably have believed her too if I hadn't read the spoiler!
Anyways, best book in the series because the story was so interesting! The characters was a little weak, but yeah, whatever!
Really wanna read next book soon, because the ending, gosh. My friends, that ending - woaaaaah!

Perfect Scoundrels by Ally Carter

Title: Perfect Scoundrels
Author: Ally Carter
Series: Heist Society
Part: 3
Release year:  2013
Publisher: Orchard - thanks for the review ex!
Pages: 356
Reread: Nope but will probably have a rereading of the series this summer ♥
Sequels: -

Katarina Bishop and W.W. Hale the Fifth were born to lead very different lives - her family are criminal masterminds, while he comes from an apparently perfect dynasty. But both families know how to stay under the radar while getting - or stealing - whatever they want. When Hale unexpectedly inherits his grandmother's billion-dollar corporation, he quickly learns that there's no place for Kat and their old heists in his new role. But Kat won't let him go that easily, especially after she is tipped off about an elaborate con to steal the company's fortune. Instead of being the heir, this time Hale might be the mark. Kat is prepared to do the impossible, but first she has to decide. Is she willing to save her boyfriend's company if it means losing the boy?¨

Spoilers for you guys who've not read the other books!

Ah. This book. Oh so wonderful. Oh so perfect. Best book I've read this year!

All right. First and foremost.
I LOVE CAT'S relatives!
So it is so wonderful when all the relatives (and friends) only collected to help Kat with something! Oh I really love her relatives, especially Gabrielle.
But my favorite is probably Eddie: P
oh spoiler mark to read(in the end what I was afraid, he is one of my three favorite characters)

Oh god, finally it was Hale and Kat together  and Hale called her girlfriend and then just spoiler ("you're not my girlfriend anymore" ) and I just died: (
My feels for Kat and Hale, ih, level 9000!
No, but they're a couple you could die for, therefore I was sad when they had a fight: (

My favorite characters are Hale and Kat. They are just so wonderful.
Kat has a little typical superheros in YA - think you can do everything yourself, and never want to ask for help, but since she is such a wonderful character to steal to steal, but to give back things to the rightful owners, and she does only applicable if there is something wrong with them (as in this book).
I love that she is so loyal to everyone, and therefore it felt so awkward when she didn't tell Hale - but you still understand why, it would surely hurt him totally if she said she suspected it!
Hale is a wonderful guy, one can not help but love him! He is a bit mysterious, wonderful and yeah best. A real plus that we got to know so much about him in this book.

The story was extraordinary, it turns out that I am a sucker for stories of teenage thieves!
It is exciting and I like how she solves things and I love all the talk about cons and stuff.
I do not think the book is particularly predictable but I try not to think too much on the clues and then to later be surprised.

The book is incredibly readable, so all of you - read it! ♥

5/5 ♥

In my mailbox #2

This year I won't buy any books until the booksale my country always have in the end of February, but still I bought some books yesterday. But all of them is free e-books so it's ok I guess. But I won't buy more ;)
Insight
Gravity (Gravity Series #1) (The Gravity Series)The Wonderful Wizard of OzLittle Women
(I could only find them on Amazon(in right cover) so it's the Amazon pics.

I also got some books from NetGalley:
Dash & Lily's Book of Dares
I've already read this book
but I wanna read it again,in Swedish.

Shadowhunters and Downworlders: A Mortal Instruments Reader
I guess I should read the whole series before  I read this one.
The Truth about Breaking Up, Making Up, and Moving on
This book don't seem to be a fiction book so I
 will propably not read it..
Best Served Cold
But I guess I should watch all the episodes before I read this one
,I'm only on S01E21 or something.
A Shimmer of Angels
This book isn't out in the stores yet,so it's funny to read.
Also it is a pretty good book. It isn't bad anyway.
Saving June. Hannah Harrington
This book has a pretty good rating on Goodreads: 4.10

Last but not least, today I got a book for this "bookfriendcircle" that I'm in. Everyone buy a book in different genres, and then they reads it and then on a special day so send everyone their book to the next person in the list. I knew that the person above me had the genre paranormal romance, and I also know that she reads alot of the newest books,so I was a little curious about what book I'd get,but I didn't guess right. Okay actually I didn't guess at all, hah.
Next month I'll get a dystopian book, and next next month I'll get a fantasy book and next next next a middle grade book. Yeah,I've checked that up,haha x)
Anyway, thanks Petra for the book (:
Oh,I forgot to show it!
Inbetween
I've read the prologue and it seems okay. But then again,
I hate when people in books name's Finn.
Bad memories with Glee Finn. I dislike him.

YA2U

Sadly I can't win this contest unless like everybody vote on Stockholm, but the Rafflecopter contest is open worldwide!

Have you ever wished that a big YA book tour would make a stop in your hometown? Well, here's your chance for that wish to come true! YA2U is a program that features five award-winning and best-selling authors who are holding a contest to see what city they should visit in an exclusive tour stop!

The authors are collecting votes from January 1 to February 15, and any city in the continental US or any Canadian city that has an international airport can win an exclusive visit from all five authors, including an author panel and book signing! Entering is super easy--and if you help spread the word about the contest, you can also enter win a signed copy of all of their books (TEN signed books in total!)--and the book contest is open internationally!

The authors in the program are:

And they want to have an event in your home town! To participate, just got to the YA2U website and let them know what city you want them to come to. And while you're there, help spread the word about the contest and you can be entered to win all of their books--TEN signed books in total!

Here's why the YA2U Team should come to MY hometown!
I know this is only for the U.S and Canada - but if you guys all vote for Stockholm maybe they will visit us!
I'd love the YA2U team to visit Stockholm because we kind of never get visits from YA authors - and this is some of my favorite authors!
Besides,I bet that most of the authors have visited a lot of cities in Canada and the U.S on their usual booktours and also for fun.
But Sweden? That would be a fresh wind for them! And sure, they maybe don't have as many fans here as in America, but these fans are something different! Most of them(us) have never met such big authors, and sure not from the big YA world far away! We would love to have some big authors here, and we would propaply hyperventilate if we won!
This would be something new for us,and propably same for you authors! How often do you visit north Europe? Why not do it this time? :D
SO COME ON, VOTE FOR STOCKHOLM! :D

Why should the YA2U Team come to your hometown? Why not join in the fun today and share with others about this program and your hometown. The more votes your town gets, the closer you are to having your very own personal tour stop! Vote for YOUR town here!

And if you help spread the word, you can also participate in the book giveaway. Tell them that you learned about YA2U from me and we both get extra entries in the contest!

Me and Earl and the Dying girl

Title: Me and Earl and the Dying girl
Author: Jesse Andrews
Published: 2012
Publishers: Amulet books
Pages:
Other books by the author:
None
Re-read: No
Up until senior year, Greg has maintained total social invisibility. He only has one friend, Earl, and together they spend their time--when not playing video games and avoiding Earl's terrifying brothers-- making movies, their own versions of Coppola and Herzog cult classics. Greg would be the first one to tell you his movies are f*@$ing terrible, but he and Earl don't make them for other people. Until Rachel.Rachel has leukemia, and Greg's mom gets the genius idea that Greg should befriend her. Against his better judgment and despite his extreme awkwardness, he does. When Rachel decides to stop treatment, Greg and Earl make her a movie, and Greg must abandon invisibility and make a stand.

Sadly, this book disapointed me. I thought it'd be hilarious and beautiful, and I loved the cover, but no. The book,it just wasn't as I thought.
The humour Greg had - the things that was supposed to make you laugh - they didn't make me laugh.

Greg was a pretty boring person to follow, and the voice in the book was sarcastic. I like sarcastic - trust me,I love sarcastic - but his sarcasm felt so..I don't know, boring?
Sometimes,he was funny. Like when he made up some different phone call ideas/conversations in his head.

I do that pretty often(conversations in my head) so it was something I could see myself in.
But still,he is and boring character who just looks down at himself and everything, and I don't like
that! It's not that he think that he sucks or something(well, sometimes actually he does).

The fact that I don't remember so much about Earl except his family probably says a lot - but I must say that he was my fav. character and I kinda don't remember him anymore. And that says a lot about the book - it isn't something that edges and stay in your head - you read it and then that was that!

Rachel, well I remember that she had leukemia and that she felt boring and clingy. The story of her is "no i don't wanna be your friend! Okay let's be best friends you! Nonono you can't leave me her alone! I wanna suffer alone" and so..

Urgh..

The book wasn't even sad! When Rachel died mostly felt like "oh,that's too bad but yeah well,Greg said it in the beginnig" and that was the end of it!

The language was like .. nah.. I said that it was too sarcastic and boring and the jokes wasn't fun at all. It was Jesse's debut book and you don't wanna crush it too much, but I didn't enjoy the language. But it was easy to read and yeah,a fast read!

The story wasn't so interesting either,it was most "oh,she have cancer..let's make a movie to her because that's her last wish or something". If you want a really sad and beautiful and fun cancer book - read TFiOS. It has everything and it makes you laugh even though it's a sad book about cancer!
I know I didn't enjoy this book so much, but everyone else seems love it so you guys should probably give it a shot - who knows, you may love it! It's just that I didn't.

On goodreads,I gave this book 3/5,but now a time after I've reflected more, and no. The cover is the best thing about this book and that's just sad.

2/5 - It was ok but not that good..
